City of Touchet

Lewis and Clark camped 12 miles north of here on April 30, 1806 while taking a shortcut through the sand dunes on one of the longest overland stretches of their return journey in present-day Washington.

Location: Hwy 12, nine miles north on North Touchet Road, WA
