This 4,694 foot pass is on the southeast side of Mount Rainier and is one of the most scenic and beautiful drives you will ever take. The highway, SR 123, accesses the Ohanapecosh area of the park, and connects travelers from SR 410 to US highway 12 and White Pass to the south. Keep an eye out for wildlife (as a viewing opportunity as well as a safety warning.) The thick brush makes it hard to see animals as they cross the road.
