Chinook Pass Scenic Byway
Opening into vast arrays of summer colors are the meadows around Chinook Pass. The meadows are awash in the brilliant shades of red and orange colors found on wild huckleberry bushes. During mid summer there is also a profusion of alpine wild flowers in bloom in the meadow. Keep an ear out for elk bugling in the adjacent woods.
