Tipsoo Lake, near the summit of Chinook Pass is a classic alpine lake and photographer's dream. Take a walk around the lake and stroll through the vibrant yellow, orange and purple colors of huckleberry, lupine, indian paint brush, and partridge foot. There are several hiking trails near the lake varying in degrees of difficulty, but all have one thing in common - spectacular views and clear, crisp mountain air.
