Brewster Orchards/Lake Pateros
Lake Pateros was formed by the Columbia River pooling from Wells Dam to the mouth of the Okanogan River. The lake offers a great setting for water sports and a shaded picnic area in Brewster’s waterfront park. Located in the heart of the Okanogan hills, the Brewster Orchards are a stunning backdrop to the still water, creating a pastoral scene not easily forgotten.
Miles of river are ready for your enjoyment. For anglers, it is a popular place for fishing the summer run Chinook as well as walleye and bass. Bring your boat, slap on the skis or rent a jetski and get out on the water. Just 25 miles from Lake Chelan on the Okanogan Scenic Byway, come enjoy the uncrowded parks, water recreation and friendly folks.
