Just 8 miles from the City of Republic, this state park is a 123-acre camping wonderland. It has to be one of the most relaxing campgrounds in the state, offering water and snow-sport activities including trout and bass fishing, water-skiing, and the opportunity to just sit in a postcard-pretty campsite and relax. Throughout most of the summer months, various birds-of-prey hunt from the skies, while ducks and geese raise their young in the deep waters of Curlew Lake.
