Kendall

Driving for approximately 23 miles on the scenic Mount Baker Highway, you arrive at the tiny community of Kendall, the first town along the route.  It was named for Carthage Kendall, a Virginian who settled on the North Fork of the Nooksack River in 1884.  A little further down the road is Maple Falls, a very quaint Bavarian-style village.  Though Kendall isn't known for bustling urban activity, but it’s beloved as a perfect place to get away and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature at its best.
