Mt. Baker Scenic Turnout

Five miles past Maple Falls at mile 30 along the Mt. Baker Scenic Highway in northern Washington is one pit-stop every traveler should make.  It’s a dazzling view of the mountain and surroundings with the makings for a postcard-perfect picture.  Look around at all of the natural beauty that blesses this area of the county.  All your troubles are a million miles away.  Like a dark green blanket, evergreen trees stand tall for miles in every direction.  Forget about having one of those paper air-fresheners, just open your window and soak in all the wonderful fragrances of the fir and cedar forest.
