Silver Fir Campground

Located 13 miles outside the town of Glacier, along the North Fork Nooksack River, Silver Fir Campground is a small, pleasant place to spend an afternoon fishing or picnicking.

Set up camp in a small, pleasant campground, this is an ideal place to spend a few days exploring the beauty surrounding the Mt. Baker Scenic Byway.  Silver Fir Campground is situated alongside the North Fork of the Nooksack River and is surrounded by fantastic mountain views.  Bring your fishing pole and try your luck at fishing.  Lace up those boots and hit one of the many area hiking trails.  Or simply sit back and relax, breathe in the clean mountain air and enjoy the fantastic river views and summer sunshine.  It's just the ticket for getting away from the everyday hustle and bustle to enjoy a slower pace of life.  Just passing through?  Stop for a picnic lunch at the delightful day use area.  The campground is located 12 miles east of the rural community of Glacier and is open seasonally from mid-May to early September.
