Federation Forest State Park
Located along the White River about 18 miles east of the City of Enumclaw on State Highway 410. The park's 600 acres is a stunning example of the beauty and diversity of old growth forests once common in the western part of the state.
You can explore Douglas fir, mature Western Hemlock, Sitka Spruce and Western Red Cedar forests and hike through five distinct ecosystems within a radius of just one mile. This day use park has miles of hiking trails, an interpretive center with a gift shop and four picnic areas. Three short interpretive loops make this ideal for small children.While at Federation Forest State Park look for bears, bobcats, deer, raptors and owls.
