Built in 1913 the tidy little Alki Point Lighthouse is located above a pebbled beach overlooking Puget Sound, at the southern entrance to Elliot Bay, and just a stones throw west from downtown Seattle. The grounds are not open to the public, but the tower is open on summer weekend afternoons and is staffed by local Flotilla members. Alki's Sentinel Island Lighthouse lens is on display during visitor hours.
