Lakewold Gardens

12317 Gravelly Lake Drive SW Lakewood , WA USA

Nestled between Puget Sound and Mount Rainier, Lakewold Gardens is home to an array of botanical wonders. The near-perfect growing conditions of the area allow the gardens to flouish, displaying a wealth of diversity in the colors and textures of this "gardener's paradise." Wander through a variety of gardens including the Rose Garden, Fern Garden, Rhododendron Collection, Woodland Garden, Knot Garden, and Rock Garden. Bring a picnic lunch and make it an outing for the whole family.

Be sure to stop in at the Garden Shop located just inside the entrance to Lakewold Gardens, in the original 1918 Carriage House.

Group tours are arranged year-round by reservation. Much of the gardens are wheelchair accessible, including restroom facilities. Many of the paths are finished with brick pavers, hardened earth or small pea-gravel. They are not paved.
