Alpowai Interpretive Center

Located near the site of the original Alpowai encampment of the Nez Perce Indian Tribe, the Alpowai Interpretive Center tells the story of the area's past. Along with the history of the Nez Pearce, see the informative displays of Lewis and Clark's journey. The center is located within Chief Timothy State Park.
