Anacortes Ferry Terminal

Travel Washington's waterways.  With destinations such as Orcas Island, Friday Harbor, Lopez Island, Shaw Island and Victoria B.C., the Anacortes Ferry Terminal is your starting point for a vacation in the beautiful San Juan Islands.  Traveling by ferry is by far the most popular option for island travel, so for those traveling by car, be sure to arrive at least one hour before your scheduled departure.  Walk-on passengers should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to sailing. 

While waiting for your ferry to arrive, visit the Cheesecake Café for a meal featuring pastries and breakfast sandwiches in the morning and deli sandwiches, salads, and espresso in the afternoon.  Once your ferry arrives, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.  Take in the breathtaking scenery of forested shorelines, view the mountains in the distance, and maybe even see a playful orca whale flipping his fins.  Your vacation has officially begun.
