Longmire
Longmire (elevation 2,761 ft.) is the park's oldest developed area, with cabins, historical museum and post office. It is located just inside the southwest Nisqually entrance. Longmire's cultural resources contributed to Mount Rainier National Park's designation as a National Historic Landmark District in 1997.
