Lisa Hill leads a local bird walk on Bateman Island on (typically) the first Saturday of each month, September through June. Meet for a morning birding walk through the island's inland bird habitat and observe the surrounding Yakima Delta and Columbia River for waterfowl. All birders are invited, especially those who wish to expand their birding knowledge by accompanying experienced birders. Average sightings for these walks are 30 to 40 species.
