The Port Townsend Farmers' Market is the community's favorite gathering place and tourist destination with over 55 vendors each week. Entertainment includes top musicians with frequent noon-time feature performances. There are weekly food-ag education booths and two non-profit booths hosted by different community groups each week. Also, there are picnic eating areas on the Community Center Lawn and South-end Market Courtyard available.

Book, lyrics and music by Leslie Bricusse, adapted from the book A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, this musical adaptation premiered in 1992. Dickens' timeless Christmas classic set to music is presented at the holiday season, to bring families and our surrounding communities together at the playhouse this year. This large cast musical is filled with ghosts, special effects and wonderfully original holiday music, including "Thank You Very Much, and "I Hate Christmas."
Special Events:
Thursday (12/3) "Pay-What-You-Wish" performance.
Friday (12/4) "Scrooge" Holiday Party featuring hors d'oeuvres and desserts prepared by Port Townsend's outstanding chefs. Begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Northwest Maritime Center.
Wednesday (12/9) "Family Night" performance, with special ticket prices and treats for the kids.

Starting from the Downtown Waterfront, the tour will cross to Bird Island and then along the military's Indian Island. The tour will then cross over to Chimicum Creek, along the shoreline to Old Fort Townsend for a short hike and then back to the Historic District. This tour is recommended for strong paddlers. Snacks and lunch will be provided.

Cross the bay and enter the waters between Indian and Marrowstone Islands, home to harbor seals and miles of inter-tidal zones. Ride the tides, take a break on Bird Island. Lunch will be included in this excursion.
