Scenic Viewpoints

We hope you’re not in too big a hurry. Because Washington State is a fantastic place to pause for a moment, catch your breath and gaze out from a scenic viewpoint. You’ll find them practically everywhere, from coastal lighthouse lookouts like Cape Flattery—where the Strait of Juan de Fuca meets the Pacific Ocean—to the amazing Cascade Loop Scenic Highway (which is sort of like the Cascade Range’s ‘Best of’ album). And all along the North Cascades Highway, from the awe-inspiring Deception Pass at Whidbey Island to the beautiful banks of the Columbia and the Pend Oreille Rivers in eastern Washington State. At Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park and the aptly named Paradise Visitor Center at Mount Rainier National Park. And at thousands of other points, peaks and panoramas along the way. See for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
