We honestly don’t know why there are so many great breweries in Washington State. Maybe it’s because Washington farmers grow all the ingredients needed to make great beer. Maybe it’s all those artesian wells and glacier-fed streams and rivers. Or maybe we just like good beer. (Okay, we love good beer.) All we know is, we’re thankful that the brewmaster’s craft is alive and well here.
If you’re a beer lover too, you’d be hard pressed to find a better place to take a brewery tour. Washington led the microbrew revolution against personality-challenged beer. Today, in nearly every nook and cranny of the state, you’ll find an amazing variety of microbreweries with tasty and unique beers on tap. Beer wasn’t invented in Washington, but it was definitely reinvented here. Cheers.
