Everett City Concierge Joins Toys for Tots This Holiday Season

EVERETT, Wash.-The Everett City Concierge has teamed up with Toys for Tots to become a drop-off location for donations of new, unwrapped toys for their annual program. For more than fifty years, Toys for Tots has collected toys with the primary goal of the Foundation “to deliver a shiny new toy at Christmas, as message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.”
“The central location of the Everett City Concierge makes it an ideal drop-off location for people who work in the downtown Everett area. We hope that downtown workers will help support this truly worthwhile program,” said Everett City Concierge Coordinator Kevand Topping.
The Everett City Concierge is located in the Global Spectrum-managed Everett Events Center on the corner of Hewitt Avenue and Broadway. Toys can be dropped off during regular City Concierge hours of Monday through Friday 11am to 4pm and Saturday Noon to 4pm, now through December 22. The Everett City Concierge is a complimentary service to visitors and local residents, providing information on hotels, transportation, restaurants, events, attractions and more. It is located on Hewitt & Broadway in the $71.5 million multi-purpose complex Everett Events Center which was developed by the Everett Public Facilities District. The City Concierge is managed by Global Spectrum and funded by the City of Everett.
The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity, has been the fundraising and support organization for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program since 1991. During that period, the Foundation has supplemented the collections of local Toys for Tots Coordinators with more than 56.8 million toys valued at over $287.7 million. Over one million dollars worth of toys were donated in the Puget Sound area last year.
