BOW, Wash.- Skagit Valley Casino Resort (The Skagit) will feature an
assortment of New Year's Eve festivities to ring in 2006.
Winners Lounge will showcase free entertainment throughout the evening and
early morning, including a performance by popular Puget Sound band Rock
Candy-featuring dance hits from the 80s to today--from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. DJ
dance selections pick up the action at 1 a.m. and continue through 4:30 a.m.
The festivities include party favors and a midnight countdown in the lounge.
Adding to the festivities will be a series of 13 drawings that The Skagit
will hold on New Year's Eve-each for $2,006. The drawings start at noon and
run every 30 minutes until 6 p.m.
Dining options include Moon Beach fine dining (reservations recommended), as
well as more casual restaurant meals in the casino's Market Buffet and
Northern Lights Deli.
