The natural gothic splendor of the misty and mysterious Olympic Peninsula is the perfect locale for Twilight, the popular book series by Stephenie Meyer. As every fan of the Twilight books (and movies based on them) knows, the story is set in and around Forks, La Push, and Port Angeles. All of these Olympic Peninsula towns are easily accessible from US 101, the scenic highway that loops around Olympic National Park.
Twilight fans from around the world travel to the region to enjoy the awesome vistas. Discover the homes and hangouts of Edward, Bella, Jacob, and all your other favorite Twilight characters. Visit Bella and Edward’s high school in Forks. Stake out the scenic beach at La Push where Bella learns the truth about Edward. Do a little werewolf spotting in the forests. Or grab a bite at the restaurant in Port Angeles where they have their first date. Local stores and restaurants offer menu items and memorabilia for fans with a thirst for all things Twilight.
If you’re a Twilight fan planning to visit the Olympic Peninsula, we recommend spending a few days to take in its many incredible sights, including the Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent, Sol Duc Hot Springs, Kalaloch, the Hoh and Quinault Rainforests, and the other lakes, forests, and mountains that make this corner of Washington State one of the most beautiful places on earth.

Forks
Forks, a classic Washington logging town, is the primary setting for the popular Twilight book and movie series. The living and undead residents of Forks welcome Twilight fans to take in the sights and sounds made famous by Bella's experience living among vampires.
This intriguing Olympic Peninsula town celebrates its Twilight fame with Stephenie Meyer Day (a celebration of the author and her work). The event features Forks High School tours; Twilight character look-alike contests; a wolf dance; a bonfire with native storytelling in La Push; and an opportunity to fang out with hundreds of other passionate Twilighters.
When in Forks, be sure to check out Twilight highlights, such as Forks Community Hospital; Forks High School; the Cullen House; the Clallam County sheriff’s office; the Forks welcome sign; Swan House; the Thriftway; the Forks Chamber of Commerce; and the Forks Timber Museum.
La Push
Home of the Quileute Tribe, La Push is a small and scenic Pacific Coast community that was home to Twilight character Jacob and, of course, stomping grounds of the Wolf Pack.
See the “treaty line”; Quileute Prairie Cemetery’s “vampire” baseball field; the “No Vampires Beyond this Point” sign; First Beach; Second Beach; Olympic National Park; and the Quileute Nation and Tribal School.
Port Angeles
Nestled between the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the northern border of Olympic National Park, scenic Port Angeles is where Bella and her friends went prom dress shopping. It’s also the site of Bella’s bookstore visit, which led to the famous rescue scene and Bella and Edward’s first date over a plate of mushroom ravioli.
This beautiful peninsula town has much to offer, but be sure not to miss all the cool memorabilia available to Twilight fans.
