Washington began issuing an Enhanced Driver License and ID Card (EDL/ID) on January 22, 2008.

for re-entry into the U.S. at land and sea border crossings. For information on how to obtain your EDL/ID click

for commuting, sightseeing, day tripping, or taking longer excursions.
