Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden
Overview
The Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden is abounding with horticultural riches, delighting visitors at every turn of the meandering paths throughout the 22-acre woodland garden. A visit to this world-famous garden reveals not only the largest species Rhododendron collection in the world, but an amazing array of complimentary perennials, shrubs and trees. Located just 12 miles south of the Seattle airport, the garden features a 5,000 square foot conservatory, the world's largest public stumpery, alpine and pond gardens, a blue poppy meadow, the Big Leaf Rhododendron Forest as well as the Garden Gift Shop and Nursery. Admission and purchases help support the non-profit 501c3 organization and its mission of conservation, public display, and distribution of Rhododendron species. Located at 2525 S. 336th Street, Federal Way, Washington, the Garden is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm.
